The Honest Sharing Guide – How does honest sharing work?

Honest Communication (EC) – From mistrust to connection –

Using the vagus nerve for secure attachment   – finally feel seen, heard and safe through the language of closeness.

Do you know that?

One person wants more freedom, the other more closeness – tensions arise, misunderstandings pile up, intimacy becomes uncertain? EM helps couples and people in relationships to rebuild trust, clarity and closeness – no matter how long the distance or misunderstandings have existed.

What is EM?

Honest Communication (EC) is a simple, profoundly effective practice developed by Gopal Norbert Klein (trauma therapist). It calms your nervous system, strengthens bonds and intimacy, and restores a sense of security in closeness – entirely without analysis.

What EM does to you (effects)

• Immediate calming and safety effect on the nervous system (vagus nerve)
• Inner peace, presence, groundedness – less drama, more clarity
• Greater connection: being seen, heard, and meant
• Support in healing attachment trauma
• De-identification: you realize “There is…” – it’s not you.
• Closeness without stress: Encounters less frequently trigger uncertainty.
• Stop taking things personally: listen better without having to defend yourself – and be less defensive on the other person’s part as well.

For all bonding types

Whether autonomous (“I want retreat and peace…”) or merging (“I want more closeness and contact”) – EM works equally well for both poles.

Quickly accessible – easily oriented

The EM Compass is laminated and durable, perfect for practice, couples, and groups. It’s also ideal for use on the go. Clearly designed icons, colors, and infographics provide intuitive orientation at a glance – ensuring EM remains easy to use, safe, and effective in everyday life.
